We had a good time in Sedalia Missouri attending the Red Power Roundup.

Admittedly, tractors are not a large part of my life but there is something to be said for their longevity. Here, we have examples of 75+ year old tractors and engines that still function today. It is a testament to their simplicity that they have stood the test of time. The same cannot be said for the engines of today. (Yes, I am choosing to ignore today’s efficiency gains.)

Another aspect that I like to reflect on is safety. We have come a long way with regard to safety. It is easy to look at all these devices and see how far we have come.
